Hi --

I didn't set out to help people overcome traumatic experiences, but I'm kept very busy doing so simply because I can. I simply have a better tool than most.

You're welcome to call me -- please be patient as while I write this I have 7 or 8 others trying to set up times.

My son had a traumatizing experience during his freshman year of baseball. At the time he had temporarily experienced Yips (although we had no idea what it was then). Now as a junior in HS it has come back due to a recurrence of the event during the week of baseball tryouts. A private lesson coach turned us onto your site and the description of yips is spot on with what has occurred with my son. We are hoping you can help us. This is all very time sensitive and I am hoping to hear from you soon!

Hi -- sorry for the delay. Your message was mixed in with some spammy comments.

Nothing spammy about your question.

It really depends on emotional maturity than raw age. I'd expose him to some of my stuff, like www.PlayBigBook.com and see how he responds. If he seems to get it, feed him more.

Big is for you to read/watch my stuff and then work it into your conversations with him.

Write me if you'd like to talk it over.

At what age would you suggest someone start working with you? I have an 11 year-old son who I believe could greatly benefit from someone like you. He is a mechanically / physically solid player, but when he gets in the box, he strikes out a lot. He hits very well in the cage and has a great looking repeatable swing. But during his AB's I think he has a difficult time silencing all the things going on in and around him.

Looking forward to hearing back.
